Simple Rates and Easy Price Quote!
Generally, our rate starts at between $259 & $279 nightly for up to 4 guests. We usually have a 5 night minimum stay, 7 nights for December & January. One time $180 Cleaning Fee. Add mandatory Accommodations Tax of 13.42%. Special terms and longer minimum stays for Peak Winter Season, Ironman Triathlon, and other special events apply. We generally will be at full house capacity at 8 adults, with floor futons available for up to 3 smaller children. Also, we usually require a Security / Damage Deposit for groups of 6 or more, which is fully refundable within 10 days, in accordance with the condition the house is left after check out.

Rates vary with number of guests, season, and length of stay. Winter & Holiday rates are higher, and the following table can be used for approximate rates:
November thru December 14th, add $20 nightly
December 15th thru January 15th, add $50 nightly
Remaining dates thru February, add $20 nightly
For Peak Winter, and Ironman Triathlon rates and policies, please inquire.
Our rates and fees are based on our minimum stay.
Stays less than our minimum can be arranged with a $100 nightly short stay fee added.
We do not do 1 or 2 night rentals.
We do a full and thorough cleaning between guests, including all towels & linens, floors, refrigerator, stove & appliances, all counter areas, pool, hot tub, mirrors, and all outside areas. All mattresses are vacuumed and sprayed with Lysol, and covers are washed. All kitchen and bath supplies are replenished, including paper products, soaps, bags (Ziploc, trash, etc.), and spices / condiments.
We've recently revised our payment schedule: $100 will hold your reservation until 60 days prior. 50% due at 60 days, remaining due at 30 days. For your protection as well as ours, we require a Rental Agreement to be signed and returned. Check in: 3 PM (unless specified different), Check out: 10 AM.
We accept Checks, Cashier Checks, Money Orders, and Credit Cards thru Paypal. Last Minute discounts a possibility, please inquire through the Contact form at the bottom of this page.**

Located on the Kona slopes, about 3 miles from the Airport. Our guests appreciate the location. Pleasantly a little cooler than downtown, but convenient to activities and shopping.

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed staying at the Sunset Home. Everything was awesome. The beds were very comfortable and all of them had extra pillows. Two of our teenage boys were too big to share a bed so in the closet was a fold-a-bed for him to use with additional pillows and blankets.
The pool and hot tub were great. We were advised to cover the pool up every night to keep the heat in and it worked great. The cover is on a pull string and two of us were able to do that every night in less than 30 seconds. There was also an abundance of beach towels for us to use. We would not have had to bring any.
The kitchen was well stocked… The best part about your house were all the little things that we didn't realize came with it. Boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach mats, beach towels, coolers… Everything was wonderful! We were very impressed with Sunset Pool Home. As you know from our previous emails, we brought four guests from Germany with us. This was their first visit to Hawaii and we wanted everything to be perfect. And, it was! Sunset Pool Home is roomy, comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is more than adequately stocked with dishwear, cookwear, cleaning supplies etc. The four bedrooms and two bathrooms are equally well supplied with towels and linens. We used the wonderful pool and hot tub every day. There are plenty of beach towels, chairs, ice chests, swim gear and beach toys in the closet for guests to use. In short, we couldn't of asked for anything more.
